Joey's Story

Life can be cruel, for humans and animals alike. All we know is that brothers Joey, Ross and Chandler were abandoned on AALOC’s porch and needed medical help. No notes, no reason other than someone just didn’t want them anymore or perhaps could not afford the cost of a veterinarian. Our shelter was completely full, but the AALOC staff couldn’t turn these little darlings away. All three received the medical attention they needed and are now ready to find loving, forever homes.

Joey is a short-haired all black tabby – except a very small tuft of white fur on his chest. His coat is sleek and shiny and he has the most brilliant golden eyes ever. Joey is super friendly and likes to play with his brother Chandler but is also social interacting with other cats as well.

Please submit an application to adopt Joey at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Joey and get to know him a bit.

Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
