Adopt Joey, a true GEM-tleman! Joey had to survive the harsh winters of Manitoba which resulted in the loss of the tips of his ears. His struggle for survival included many injuries that have now healed. Looking for a steadfast snuggle partner? Joey’s your guy! While he may be rough-and-tumble at first, he quickly melts into a purring pile while held like a baby, especially when he’s getting his favorite: chest scratches! He loves his people so much, gives the best face-rubs, and…adorably drools when he’s happiest! The host-with-the-most will even entertain you with a fun game of "Paws Under the Door”! Joey has met several dogs and instantly decided that he loves making new friends! He’s litter trained (no spraying) and a perfect indoor gemtleman! A Note on Love: Joey is FIV-positive. He needs an indoor home where he will be the only cat (or with other FIV cats or dogs). A cozy, safe forever home is the perfect gift for this deserving 2-year-old boy! ♥️

Manitoba Animal Alliance's Adoption Policy

We have them fill out an application with references. If we have a suitable application the references are contacted. We do a home check either in person or virtual. If the home check is good, we set up a meet and greet. After that if they decide to proceed we send them the adoption contract. Once the contract is received back with adoption fee, we make arrangements for them to go to their new home.
