Joey's Story
Submit your application here: www.passportanimalrescue.org/app

Joey is a 1-2 year old Guy who found himself trying to survive outside. He made sure his rescuers knew he is a friendly guy when they took him to be neutered! He's fine with other cats but no doggos for this guy please!

Joey is positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). Fortunately, most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives. FIV is NOT contagious to people or dogs, and it’s okay for FIV positive kitties to live with FIV negative kitties. We do not recommend that FIV positive cats be allowed outside, both to avoid illness and to prevent spread to other cats. Like any other kitty, Joey should be taken to your family veterinarian once a year for a general check-up. No routine medication or any other specialized care is needed. More info: https://shorturl.at/gFGSZ.

All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip.

We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.
