Joey's Story
Joey is a sleek and handsome black cat with a little white patch on his chest. He is 2 years old and was transferred to HART from another shelter in the Fall of 2024. Joey is a very laid-back and very affectionate cat who has a lot of love to give! Despite being blind, he is outgoing and very curious, and loves to explore. He loves being held close and will give you lots of kisses and snuggles.

In addition to his impaired vision, Joey has several other significant health concerns, including occasional seizures and chronic diarrhea. He is currently on a prescription medication to help control his seizures and a limited-ingredient duck diet. We will require that his adopter has an established relationship with a veterinarian, and the ability to both regularly monitor his health, administer medication, and provide a calm home environment that can safely accommodate his special needs. Our Adoption Team will review his specific needs with you prior to adoption.

Joey is an absolute sweetheart and is ready to bring the fun and snuggles to his new family. Please submit an adoption application and come in to meet this very special kitty in Room 1.

Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!

***FKA = Formerly Known As
