Joanne's Story

Joanne is just as sweet as she is beautiful! This little lady can be a bit timid at first, but once she warms up to you she loves a good snuggle.

Though she can be on the shy side, a few cat treats will win her over and have her running to your side- she is quite food motivated and loves herself a small piece of chicken as a treat. Joanne enjoys the occasional cat nip toy as well and adores her cat tree and cardboard scratchers.

In her down time, you can find this gorgeous gal sunbathing in a window sil or lounging in her favorite spot on the bed or couch. Joanne is vocal when she's looking for some attention or wants a nibble of food.

Joanne currently lives with a larger, older dog, who she tolerates, though she is a bit fearful of her and will occasionally hiss at/swat at her foster-dog-sister when she walks by, so she may do best in a house with a calmer, older dog or no dog at all. She has not been around other cats in her foster home, but would likely do fine with a cat sibling.

Joanne is more on the independent side and can sometimes be found playing with a toy alone in her room, but she can also be very affectionate when she chooses. At night she often sneaks in her foster mom's bed for snuggles before she falls asleep. She loves to explore new places and enjoys climbing up on top of high surfaces. She loves a good head scratch behind the ears and is open to a belly rub now n then. Joanne is a beautiful, blue-eyed, sassy little thing who just might be the next great addition to your home!

Joanne is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative

*To apply for Joanne, please visit our website to view our adoption guidelines and fill out our application at catcallsrescue.org/adopt *
