Meet Joanna!
Joanna is a 4-year-old female tabby who came to the shelter as an owner surrender--through no fault of her own. Despite the big change in her life, she has remained a total sweetheart with a calm, loving nature.

She has spent 10 weeks at the shelter and is more than ready to find a stable, caring home where she can feel secure again. Joanna loves attention, gentle affection, and simply being near someone who cares about her.

If you're looking for a sweet, mature, and affectionate cat who just wants a second chance, Joanna is waiting to meet you. 🐾❤️Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.

Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.

Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).

For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com.
