JJ is a handsome tabby boy looking for lasting love through adoption. JJ is absolutely adorable and irresistible but does require a special and cat savvy home. <br/><br/>JJ should not go to a home with young children, first time cat owners or anyone who doesn’t appreciate the uniqueness that each cat brings. He can be ornery, fiesty and sassy - but he is also loving, sweet and mellow. JJ can get overstimulated and when he does, he needs his people to allow him his space, to be calm and understanding and to help him adapt to the situation. JJ thrives on positive reinforcement like being told he’s a good boy (because he is!) and getting rewarded with nice and gentle pets. <br/><br/>To assist JJ in being his best self, he currently takes gabapentin each day. He loves it being stirred into a Squeeze - his favorite treats! JJ absolutely loves other cats and plays very well with them. He needs people that will not only understand his quirks but appreciate them.
