Jitterbug's Story
Just like her name suggests, this sweet girl has a little wiggle in her step — and it’s absolutely adorable. Jitterbug has cerebellar hypoplasia, which makes her a bit wobbly on her feet, but don’t let that fool you — she gets around just fine and doesn’t let anything slow her down.

Jitterbug can be shy when meeting new people and is still learning that humans are safe and kind. She may not seek out attention at first, but once she’s scooped up into your arms, she melts into complete putty. Give her some good butt scratches and you’ll have a devoted little puddle in your hands. She’s a quiet, gentle soul who blossoms with patience and love.

She absolutely adores other cats and will need a feline friend in her forever home to help her feel confident and secure. She does okay with the dogs in her foster home, though she’s still deciding whether they’re friends or foes. Slow introductions will help her continue building confidence.

Because of her wobbly walk, Jitterbug’s forever family will need to make sure their home is safe and CH-friendly — soft landings, secure spaces, and thoughtful setup will help her thrive.

Jitterbug is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her time to come out of her shell and a kitty companion to share her world with. In return, she’ll give you the sweetest, squishiest cuddles and her own special brand of wiggly charm.

Could this darling little dancer be your perfect match?

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--dependent upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Jitterbug, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt
