JINX's Story

JINX came to the shelter with her sisters when they were found in a basement by a new renter.

JINX can be cautious when new people come in the room and she takes her time deciding if it is safe for pets. Once she knows it's ok, she will seek attention. She is young enough that she loves to play and loves treats. She can become over stimulated though when playing hard and may nip.

We do not know if she has been around dogs, but given her cautious nature, JINX may not do well with them. She had been adopted with one of her siblings, but did not get along with her sister, and had to come back to the shelter. She is a bully to her roomies and needs to be an only pet. She should not go to a home with young children.

JINX had a rough start in life with little contact with people. She is young and should settle down in the right home. JINX deserves and another chance and maybe a name change, like maybe Lucky or Sweetie!! Given time to adjust, beautiful JINX will find her footing, relax, and become the happy housecat she was always meant to be.

If you are interested in adopting JINX, please visit the shelter during Open hours-Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm, or call 231-773-3030 to make an appointment.
