Jimmy Leggs's Story
For our next "TA-DA" reveal, we want to introduce you to a slightly goofy kitty, Jimmy Leggs! :0. A handsome fellow, he looks like he is trying to do squats. He isn’t! His back legs don’t work well as a result of a congenital malformation so he doesn't walk on them. Instead, he scootles around, primarily using his front legs. So what might seem like a disability in others, in Jimmy it’s just one more thing that makes him unique and special. And he is completely fine using the litterbox. (Yay!) He's on quite a few meds for his legs, his allergies, etc. Interestingly, the situation with his legs doesn’t seem to bother him all! In fact, he is just a super playful, happy, vey sweet guy. He just “runs” around and acts like other cats, although he is very sensitive about touch on his back rear. Jimmy is FIV+; essentially he has a compromised immune system. FIV+ cats can and do live long, happy lives so don't let that stop you from asking about him! We will only place him with an experienced cat owner so he won’t go to a home as a first time kitty. In fact, if you are interested in adopting him, we would suggest instead you foster him first to see if he’s a good fit. Just reach out and let us know if you are interested in this funny, amazing guy. adoptions@thecatsatlongstreet.org

Estimated DOB: 11/07/2022
