Jiji's Story

Jiji is a beautiful black cat who is slowly finding her footing here at the shelter. She's been a bit nervous in this new environment, but with patience and gentle care, her personality and confidence are beginning to shine through. Each day, we see more of the sweet, curious girl she truly is.
Jiji's home notes are glowing-she was described as a snuggle bug who loves spending time close to her people. She enjoys playtime, but also values her independence and knows how to entertain herself. One of her favorite things? Boxes! Whether it's for lounging, hiding, or playful pouncing, a good box always brings out her playful side.
While in our care, Jiji has shown some signs of overstimulation, which tells us she would thrive best in a calm, quiet home. A patient adopter who can give her time and space to decompress will be rewarded with a loving, affectionate companion. With the right environment, Jiji is sure to continue blossoming into the confident, cuddly cat she's meant to be.
