Jewels is a 6-year-old female Brown Tabby DSH.<br/><br/>Jewels is a little shy but very sweet, and with patient handling we believe she will warm up and come around just fine. She came from a household with dogs and other cats and has experience living with them. <br/><br/>Jewels will be spayed prior to adoption and will be ready to join her new family once that procedure and her recovery are complete.

Volunteers For Animals / Genesee County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
There is a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE for all animals which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered there is a $35 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT upon proof of surgery. An adoption application must be filled out at the Shelter by the person wishing to adopt the animal. Once the application has been reviewed and approved the potential adopter may visit and meet any of the animals. If you live in Genesee County, all dogs must be licensed BEFORE leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that license dogs are not open on the weekends. All dogs must leave the Shelter on a leash. Please bring a leash. All cats must leave the Shelter in a cat carrier. Please bring a cat carrier
