Jewel's Story

Bio: Jewel is a very sweet and affectionate cat, rubbing her head all over her foster since day one. She likes head scratches and head to tail pets. Jewel will look right at you if you call to her (name or otherwise). While she enjoys invading your personal space and climbing, she does not appear to be a lap cat but instead likes to sit right next to you on the couch/bed/chair/floor. If you're sitting at a desk, she will compromise and sit next to your feet on the floor. She does the same with her foster's resident cat, laying next to him in the sun.

Jewel is surprisingly playful. While she will play with her foster's resident cat, running all over and up and down stairs, she prefers shorter play sessions. She enjoys batting small toys around the floor. Jewel can be found walking around with a small mouse toy her in mouth. In a recent development, she's finally come around to chasing wand toys!

Dog sociability: Unknown
Cat sociability: She has co-existed well with her foster's resident cat after a gradual introduction.
Kid sociability: Likely fine with respectful kids

Likes: Head scratches, invading your personal space, climbing

Dislikes: Sudden movements, the sound of the shower

Jewel's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter.
