Jett and Tuxie's Story

***BONDED PAIR***

Jett- He is a fluffy solid black love bug who we've grown so attached to here at the shelter! He turned 3 years old this past August and is looking for just the right home for him and his great love Tuxie! He was previously adopted to be a companion cat to an adult foster home in February of 2024, but it soon became apparent that there were just too many people for his liking, and he struggled to get comfortable. He was then adopted in April 2024 and returned the following month. Once he returned, he began his love affair with another resident cat named Tuxie and they've been inseparable ever since! He is an absolutely wonderful cat looking for just the right home to give him all the love and comfort he needs!

Tuxie- She is a beautiful fluffy tuxedo girl with a bit of a quirky attitude. She likes to stay close and watch what you're doing, but as soon as you try to reach out to her, she'll scurry away. She is very slow to warm up to people but is most agreeable to pets and attention when she is eating. She is a little over 2 1/2 years old and is our longest resident here at the shelter. The shelter life is all she's known so she will need someone patient and gentle to give her the time to get comfortable in a home. When Jett returned to the shelter, she took a special liking to him and would groom and lay with him to comfort him in his transition. They quickly became our "married couple" and everything they do, they do together! Both Jett and Tuxie are fantastic with other cats and have lived in a "free run" room for over a year and help other cats in their social journey.

Both of them have become so special to all of us here at the shelter and just want to see them flourish in a new home with people that can love them forever!
