Jett

Meet Jett — Your Professional Lap Cat!

At 8 years old, Jett has officially perfected the art of being a wonderful cat. This handsome orange boy arrived at the rescue about a month ago alongside his sister, Joan, and from the moment he settled into foster care, Jett has shown everyone exactly what a special guy he is.

Jett is sweet, affectionate, gentle, and absolutely obsessed with his people. If there’s a lap available, Jett would like to know why he hasn’t been invited yet. He LOVES lap time and will happily curl up with you for pets, cuddles, and quality time. His foster mom works from home, and Jett thinks this is the greatest arrangement ever invented. He gets to spend his days close to his favorite human, soaking up pets, enjoying playtime, and generally making sure she never has to work alone.

And don't let that “8 years old” fool you! You would never guess Jett's age by watching him. He is active, happy, playful, and full of life, while still having that wonderful, settled personality that comes with being a mature cat. He has not a single mean bone in his body and approaches life with an easygoing, loving attitude.

Jett currently lives in foster care with other cats and dogs and has done wonderfully. That said, because Jett is such a gentle and affectionate boy, his ideal animal companions would be those who are respectful of his space and don't require him to be in their business 24/7. He is perfectly happy to coexist peacefully and would love a home where everyone understands that sometimes a guy just needs his own space before coming back for another round of cuddles.

Jett has also had a complete health workup, and his veterinarian has given him a clean bill of health. He is in tip-top shape and ready to enjoy the next chapter of his life.

If you're looking for a cat who will greet you with love, keep you company while you work, happily claim your lap, and remind you every day how wonderful it is to have a cat by your side, Jett may be your guy.

He’s 8 years young, incredibly sweet, healthy, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s forever cuddle buddy.
