Jett

Jett is a 6 year old (born about 4/30/2020) big tuxedo boy (about 16 pounds) with beautiful green eyes who is looking for a fresh start. HIs first 5 years were a little rough for him due to losses of past family member but with his foster parents' loving care, he has blossomed and although he can still be scared by loud noises and quick actions, he is a true sweetie and great companion. He will do best as an only cat in his new forever home. <br/><br/>Jett enjoys being brushed and he will happily sit on your lap or next to you to enjoy a good movie or just hang out with you. He will let you know when he wants attention and when he is comfortable, you will get to hear his great purr. Jett will do best in a quiet home that isn't too active. As long as visitors are relaxed and not loud, he will be happy to come say hi and get a few scratches from them. He will do best in a home with adults only or older children. He is terrified of dogs due to past experiences. He is good with having his nails trimmed and he will enjoy having a good scratching post. <br/><br/>It seems likely that Jett would enjoy sleeping with his new family member if he is allowed. He loves to talk and meow at you or even just talk to himself sometimes. Some of his favorite toys are string toys. Now that he knows he is in a safe, loving home, he has become a big love bug and loves to headbutt your legs and hands and anything else he has access to. He should be in a home without plants (even ones that are cat friendly) because he wants to chew on them. <br/><br/>Jett has a lot of good years ahead of him and is waiting for you to ask about him!
