Hi there! My name is Jersey, but my foster family calls me Bitty. You can usually find me in the nearest sunbeam, soaking in the rays. If you happen to sit or lay down though, I'll be there in a moments notice to give cuddles. I love being the center of attention. I'll meow and look at you expectantly until I get sufficient pets and love! I simply like being around my humans, whether they're cooking, playing video games, or just watching TV. <br/><br/>I would prefer to be the only pet in the house since I deserve all your affection; however, I truly love my little foster brother. We often nap together, and at night, we play and chase each other around the house. It took me a few weeks to get used to him, but now we are best friends! Don't even get me started on dogs though -- that's where I draw the line.<br/><br/>My foster family likes to take me on walks in the backyard. I took to the harness and leash really quickly since I am food motivated. I have to watch my figure though. I was a bit overweight, but now I am at a healthy 7 pounds. I'm still on a special diet to keep the weight off. <br/><br/>I would like my adopter to know that I did have a forever home before. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to become a foster pet. It does take me a little bit to acclimate to new places since I get nervous and scared at first, so please be patient with me. It is well worth it, I promise you!
