Jerika's Story
Meet Jerika -- 2,326 days waiting for her forever home 🐾

Jerika has spent her entire life , over six years, at our shelter. Born here, she has always been a gentle soul: shy, quiet, and more comfortable around other cats than people.

Over time, Jerika has learned to trust our staff and volunteers, but new visitors can still be scary for her. She often hides, which makes her easy to overlook. Jerika may never be a lap cat, and that's okay. What she truly needs is a patient, understanding home where she can feel safe enough to simply be herself.

Jerika once had a mom she adored, but sadly, her mom passed away unexpectedly. Her siblings were adopted, leaving Jerika as the last one still waiting 💔.

We know Jerika has love to give, she just needs someone special to help her heart heal. With time, kindness, and a quiet home, she has the potential to blossom in her own beautiful way.

If you have a calm environment, an open heart, and the patience to let Jerika adjust at her own pace, please come meet her. You might be the person she's been waiting for all these years.

📍 Visit us: 3606 Elida Road, Lima, Ohio
🌐 Learn more: www.ohiospca.org

Email: adoptionsohiospca@gmail.com

Adoption fee: $50 (spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped)
