Jenny's Story
Jenny a sweet young lady (about 10 months old) who is looking for a place to call home. She is described as a "sweetheart" and "such a love" by our volunteers and when she is with you she is all purrs. She would likely fit into most homes. Children and cats would likely be OK, and we suspect she would warm up to a dog as well with proper introductions. Jenny is currently being treated for a virus called FIP (it is not contagious to other animals or people). While she wasn't doing very well at first, she has made a strong recovery and is ready to head home. Email is for an application!

We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
