Hello, I'm Jen. I may be a senior, but I'm filled with love and affection. My days are spent in a calm, mellow state, just waiting for someone to share in my tranquility. I'm a loyal companion, always there to provide a comforting purr or a gentle nudge when you need it. I'm friendly with everyone I meet, always ready to make new friends. Sweet as can be, I'm the perfect companion to come home to after a long day. Petite in size, I don't take up much space, but I have a huge heart. I'm just waiting for the right person to share my love and loyalty with. Adopting me means gaining a devoted, sweet, and friendly companion who will always be there for you. I've previously lived with small dogs and other cats. At my last home I had some access to the outside to bathe in the sunshine. Highland County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

All of our adoptable animals are pulled from local pounds, strays or owner surrenders. Interested in adoption? Contact us at info@highlandcountyhumanesociety.org for an application to be emailed or mailed to you. Once we've received your application, it's reviewed for approval, once approved, a date and time is arranged to meet the pet. Currently all of our animals are in foster homes. We can meet you or arrange transportation for meeting the adoptable pet or for releasing the pet into your care. Adoption fees include pre-adoption spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and flea/tick treatment. Currently we are a foster-based program. If you'd like to meet an available adoptable animals, that can easily be arranged.
