Jemima's Story

Jemima was one of our most miraculous rescues! We saw her tossed out of a car on the entrance ramp to 75 at 725 going 65mph, so we pulled over and searched with no results... We went back 8hrs later and found her hiding in the tall grass next to a drain with only minor abrasions!!!

She definitely took some time to come around after her epic ordeal and who knows how she was treated before that fateful day. But though she can still be skeptical of a hand coming towards her to love on her, her default isn't always run away- it tends to lean more towards snuggle in and get all the head scratches! She loves the other cats here and would do well with another kitty or more for company. She doesn't pay much attention to our dog.

She would need to be an indoor-kitty only!
