Jelly Belly & Skittles's Story
Two peas in a pod, these two ladies came into the rescue at the same time, around the same age, and quickly became best buds. Both arrived pretty sick and needing some TLC. They bonded over their insane appetites and wonky eyes. Skittles (the calico) eye did eventually need to be removed, making her much happier and healthier as a pirate kitty. Her lone eye doesn't stop her, she is still as sweet as can be!

Jelly (the tabby) still has a wonky eye and some scarring on both eyes, but is the boss of the house. She runs the show! She and skittle live in their foster home with a few other animals and what she says definitely goes. She had the confidence of an animal wise beyond her years and a personality that packs a punch.

Both girls have overcome so many obstacles, but one thing that has been a constant is each other. They are a bonded pair and do everything together. They are the Yin to the others yang, you won't catch one without the other.

Skittle is the more reserved of the two girls, needing time and Jelly's lead to open up, but is a snuggle bug once she feels safe. Jelly is a little velcro cat, waiting to follow you around wherever you might end up in the house. She is also VERY vocal and loves to sing and chirp.

Both girls love laser and wand toys, treats galore and the occasional “pup cup” for very special occasions (lets just say the holidays were pretty cool when their foster mom took them on a holiday car ride out of the city).

Both kittens are spayed, UTD with their shots, and can be adopted to a home with or without other animals.

Please apply using the following instructions if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails: Visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application.
