Jeeves Domestic Short Hair Mix Lowell, MA

Meet Jeeves- an active and loving eight year old cat who enjoys people, attention, petting, being held like a baby and making biscuits. He would do well in a home where he can receive lots of attention. Right now, he sits with his foster mom all day while she works from home so that he can keep her company. His favorite toys are catnip and wand toys and he loves to spend time hanging out with people.

Jeeves came to the shelter in rough shape. His owner surrendered him as he had medical issues they could not afford to treat and he was urinating outside of his box. He had severe hair loss and his stomach was covered in thickened skin. Jeeves has spent time recovering in the shelter and in foster, and has not had any litterbox issues now that he is feeling better. He does tend to swat and nip when he gets overstimulated, so he will need to be in a home without children. Jeeves tends to overgroom his stomach and due to his medical issues he will likely need to take medication for life, but this should be discussed with your veterinarian. For that reason, we are requiring his adopter to have a vet reference.
