Jax

Jax is a sweet 2 year old boy in need of a calm, loving home! He was originally trapped by a team member from Fresh Meadows, Queens after he started frequenting her yard. They noticed that he had a bad limp, and in addition to sterilizing him they wanted to provide him with the crated recovery he needed to heal from whatever was causing the limp. <br/>Upon trapping Jax, they saw how bad of a freshly injured front paw he had. After being set up to heal with intent of being released after healing, Jax began responding so well to his care takers. <br/>Responding to vocal cues, playing with toys inside his crate, and allowing for pets, it became clear that this big sweetheart just needed a little bit of time and patience before showing us his soft side. Since then, he has moved to another foster home where he is free roaming and is continuing to let his personality shine. Jax would do best in a calm household with people who can read his body language and give him the time and space he needs to be the confident boy he is! Although he can be a bit reclusive he is also seeking engagement for affection and play time. <br/><br/>Jax is up to date on his vaccines, fixed and ready for his forever home!
