Jax's Story

Date of Birth: 10/28/23
Adoption Fee: $100.00
Date Posted: 10/29/25

Hi! My name is Jax. Life has been a roller coaster for me with some really awesome moments and some scary ones too. I was found as a tiny kitten and taken to animal control. My left eye was badly injured but the nice people took really good care of me so it looked like my eye was going to be ok, just a little cloudy. Rescue people came to get me and I was adopted right away due to my gentle nature. I thought I had found a real home. After a while, the family who adopted me said they were too busy for a pet so they returned me. My eye looked really bad so the rescue people took me to the veterinarian right away. Maybe that family was scared it would cost too much money to make me feel better?? Anyway, my eye had to be removed. I now look a little like Johnny Depp from that movie about the pirates...equally as cool but much less intense and A LOT sweeter...LOL!! As soon as I recovered from surgery, I was quickly adopted again because of my affectionate, laidback style. I lived with that human mom for a few months but then she lost her job and could no longer afford to keep me. She had to move in with her family who didn't like cats. She cried a lot when she left me with the rescue people. I was sad too because I really loved her. I just knew I had to continue to be strong and brave. My foster mom is amazed at how resilient I am. I still love humans even though they have let me down a few times. Some of my favorite spots are lounging on the back of foster mom's chair or snuggling up next to her in bed. I really like to play with other kitties too, little ones or big ones. Do you just want a single guy? That's OK. I am also content to play with my awesome toys by myself. Just be sure you have plenty of time to spend with me because I do really enjoy having company, human or feline. Please come meet me soon. I need a family who will love me for always and never let me down again. Thanks for reading my story...see you soon!
