Jax's Story

Meet Jax!

Jax is an easy-going young gentleman with a heart of gold and a playful streak that shines once he's settled in. While he may be a little skittish around unexpected noises, don't let that fool you—Jax is a resilient explorer who's always ready to chase, climb, and sneak up on unsuspecting feline friends with a mischievous sparkle in his stunning copper eyes.

Partially blind? No problem. Jax zips through the living room with zoomies galore, hops onto chairs with careful confidence, and knows how to navigate life like a pro. His superpower is his unwavering spirit—he doesn't let a few challenges get in the way of having a great time.

Jax isn't one to meow for no reason, but when he does, he makes sure you hear it! His signature “please-pet-me” meow is usually followed by head boops and happy purrs. And even welcomes the occasional belly rub.

He's been great with older kids and grown-ups during his time in foster care. Jax has a history of seizures, which are managed with a daily medication. He would thrive in a quieter home without very young children. He does well with dogs where he may be open to a calm canine or canine friend. He could do fine as a solo cat with attentive humans, though he'd also enjoy the company of a gentle, easy-going feline companion.

If you're looking for a sweet, independent, and inspiring cat with a playful heart and a gentle soul, Jax just might be your perfect match. He's proof that even with a few quirks, life can still be gouda.

WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. Forever Fortunate Felines's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster-based, we really understand our cat's personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee. Adoption Fees: http://foreverfortunatefelines.org/adoption-fees/ We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy! Everything from the application to payment, to the contract is online. Additionally, all of the cat's records will be placed in your free Pet lovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized. With Warm Regards, Michela Onesti President Of Forever Fortunate Felines cats@foreverfortunatefelines.org (844) CATSFFF or (844) 228-7333
