What a show stopper Jax is! Beyond his stunning good looks is a pure loverboy. Jax greets everyone he meets with a purr or an outreached paw inviting them to pet him. He'll meow for more if his petting session ends sooner than he wants it to.

This guy has come a long way since being abandoned to the streets of Houston. At only 8 months of age, he's been through enough outdoors. In addition to the threat of being shot and becoming flea infested and on the verge of anemia, Jax endured an unknown trauma to his tail which caused the removal of half of it. His tail is a long-haired feature, and he still proudly holds it high when he marches around and makes biscuits.

The term for different colored eyes is heterochromia, which is not a medical condition but a genetic trait not uncommon to all white cats. Heterochromia causes no adverse effects on vision. And since more than one person has asked if he's deaf, the answer is no. Deafness is not uncommon in all-blue-eyed, all white cats, but Jax's hearing is uncompromised.

Jax is neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, negative for FeLV and FIV, de-wormed, de-flead, and microchipped. This snuggle bug seeks an indoors-only lifestyle with a loving family, with or without other pets. Docile and submissive, he gets along well with other cats, and he'll most likely adjust very well to a cat-friendly dog.
