Jax #3-mousketeers's Story
CUTE HALF-MOUSTACHE ON LEFT LIP

DOB 1/11/23, weight 13 #

Hey everyone! I’m Jax, a very sweet, loving, and handsome 13-pound “bicolor” gray tabby fella with gorgeous pale green eyes and a cute brown half-moustache on my left lip. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with tabby on my face, saddleback, and tail. Don’t let my size fool you because I’m a sensitive, naïve “gentle giant” who loves to nestle in Foster Meowmy’s lap while she gently scratches my chin, cheeks, and chin. (I don’t like her to rub my belly!) I cherish our bonding time when we interactively play together with the wand toy.

My brothers Jerry, Tomm, and I, a.k.a. #3-mousketeers, were less than a year old when we showed up as homeless strays in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. Initially she trapped, neutered, and released us. After about a year of feeding us, when her last foster kitten had been adopted, she decided that, with a little time and patience, we’d make wonderful indoor companions. I was a little shy in the beginning, and It did take a few weeks for me to feel comfy and secure in my new “digs,” but once I realized how much she loved me (thanks to Churus squeezable treats!), I’m now all hers!! I get along great with the other resident cats as well as her cat-friendly dogs.

Now I’m ready to be the big, tender brute who ensconces myself on the laps of my forever family. Could that be you? All that I ask is your patience as I take a few days to feel safe and loved in my new environment. I just need to confirm that you are as trustworthy as Foster Meowmy has been. A home with small children might not be appropriate because I prefer to be petted gently, and if a kid were too rough or abrupt when they stroked me, I might react defensively to tell them “Stop it! You’re scaring me!” Arrange to meet me today! I can’t wait to meet you!

HOPE ID 25-0110-M013

Jax's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php

If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Jax will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
