Java + Swift (bonded)'s Story
Winter is here, and you’ve never needed anything more in your life than these big chonk brothers (Java=20lbs, Swift =18lbs), who will gladly share whatever lap space you have available. In fact, even if you could carry them around like little baby Joeys in a pouch, I doubt that’d be close enough for these boys’ likings. What can we say? They love their people-and their people could be you!

While both boys can be a bit demanding in their need for affection (and even bully other cats when your attention is directed elsewhere, looking at you, Swift), they take their time in learning to trust. Java, especially, needs a little extra encouragement when meeting new people. He’s just a shy baby!

These gentle giants have been together since kittenhood, and when one comes a-loafing the other is not far behind. These boys are lovebugsssss, their tiny meows are comically disproportionate to their bodies- it's the best!

Both boys are neutered, up-to-date on vaccines (Rabies, FVRCP, + FeLV), are on monthly flea, tick, and parasite treatment, and will be microchipped upon adoption.

When they were surrendered in March 2025, Java was on Hill's Urinary Care dry food as he had had one UTI when he was younger (likely caused from stress), we have kept him on IAMS Urinary Care food just in case, as the shelter can be a stressful place, but we've had no issues with this, thankfully!

Swift can be prone to hairballs as he has a habit of overgrooming his brother? But daily hairball control supplements seem to do the trick!
