She’ll follow you quietly from room to room, reach out with a soft tug at your pant leg, and look up at you with hopeful eyes. When you sit down, she melts into you with the most tender head butts, as if she’s trying to make sure you know how much you mean to her. All she wants is to be close - to share your sunlight, your quiet moments, your love. She was left behind when her family moved away, alone and confused outside. Somehow, despite that heartbreak, she still believes in people. She still asks for affection. She still trusts. Java has a very low grade heart murmur that doesn’t affect her, and a sensitive tummy so she will need to remain on the same food that keeps her feeling her best. What she truly longs for though is simple - a promise that she will be loved and never left alone again. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.<br/><br/>Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.<br/><br/>No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.<br/><br/>We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
