Jasper

Jasper is a laid back boy. The largest of his litter mates, Jasper's markings are truly striking and his coat is sleek and lush. He loves his tuna and is an eager eater when called for breakfast and dinner.<br/><br/>Jasper and his brother Charlie have a wonderful time playing 'tag, you're it' and wrestling together. Jasper is also an acrobat and will throw his toys in the air and leap up to get them. He is resourceful in finding new toys, like string, ribbon and curling ribbon, but with curling ribbon he likes to chew off pieces to eat, so we kept that to short supervised play time. With this in mind, he especially likes mylar balloons, for the ribbon of course, and will follow them around playing with the ribbons, until there is not much left. We tend to throw out the pieces he chews off. <br/><br/>He is also a bit of a water boy. Like Charlie, he likes his water best if it's 'stirred' before drinking (first with one paw and then with the other) and is great for moving the water bowl around the kitchen.<br/><br/>Jasper loves to have his back scratched from the top of his head to the tip of his tail and will walk back and forth in front of you purring contentedly. He loves to snuggle into his fleece blanket or nestle in the quilt at the end of the bed and can curl into the tightest ball to sleep, covering his face with his paws.<br/><br/>Another fave is finding the perfect spot in front of the heater, either on top of a cushy fleece throw or stretched out along the top of the couch. At the end of the day you only have to announce 'bed treats' (Whiskas Temptations Chicken and Whisker Lickin's Chicken and Cheese) and Jasper will be at your side. <br/><br/>Jasper is one of the friendliest cats at the shelter - he's always at the door to greet volunteers, new people, etc. Although Jasper loves his brother, they could be separated without issues - Jasper loves other cats in general. Will you adopt this friendly, happy cat and spend your life with him?
