Jasmine *Sponsor ONLY's Story

Jasmine needs continuous donations for food and medical bills throughout her life!! Please donate one time, or sign up for a monthly sponsorship!

Jasmine has been with us sinc she was 6 weeks old. Put in a box and tossed out a car window, the car behind saved them and got them to rescue. Emaciated, covered in fleas and fighting an eye and upper respiratory infection, all 4 litter-mates clung to life. All 4 survived, but we can only do so much ... it is up to instinct at a certain point. Once they got a clean bill of health, all kittens came into a foster home and were handled as much as possible. After 6 months of trying we decided it was best for spunky baby to let what nature was calling her to do. It isn't fair to euthanize a tame cat, nor is it humane to force them inside. But Jasmine would not liter train, and would not stop trying to climb walls and escape.

With a lot of thought and planning, we would not adopt her out as outdoor cats, our rescue only allows indoor house cats to be adopted. So we carefully moved her to become a barn cat.

Due to her being an outdoor cat, her expenses are higher as we want to make sure they has the best care possible. She is on YEAR round flea/tick/heart worm prevention, her diet is a higher quality, and we have to have special housing for her in the winter time. She enjoys her life, and will always be a cat of our rescue!

You can donate here: https://gofund.me/22eb684e

OUR ADOPTION GUIDELINES All fees are subject to change without notice. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee the animal will be adopted to you.
