January's Story
January's name refers to the month in which she was rescued, not to her warm and gentle disposition. Her large emerald green eyes reveal a cat that is an old soul--January likes to observe her surroundings from the highest level of the cat tree and does not beg to be the center of attention. She "coos" alot, especially when she wants a treat or to remind her foster mom that it is time for a meal. But, she has the most fun when she plays with her stacked balls in a tiered track. January knows how to entertain herself with interactive toys or by observing the activity outside. January is independent, reserved and very gentle. She is cautious around other cats, but never aggressive. She willingly shares her room with foster visitors but seldom goes exploring her house on her own.
January may not thrive well around active children or dogs. She is a lovely cat that is still evolving into the wonderful friend and companion that she will be to someone. Will January's new best friend be you?

Birthday: June 1, 2023

To apply to adopt January, please go to
https://www.brendascatrescue.org/adoption-process
