Fostered in Vista DOB 1/22/26 Janis Joplin is a gorgeous tuxedo with special markings. She has a white dot next to her nose and her white paws all have a different pattern. Janis is bonded to her brother, Freddie Mercury, and they would love to be adopted as a pair. Janis can be shy at first, but once she comes out of her shell, she is sweet and very playful. She and Freddie are always running around, playing with each other and sleeping next to each other. Janis is good with the large, gentle dog in her foster home and gets along with the adult cats she has met there. She is curious and would be a great addition to any home. Janis is up to date on her age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed, has been wormed and microchipped.

The first step in adopting any TTF rescue animal is to fill out an application under our adoptions page. Upon completion, one of our adoption coordinators will be in contact with you shortly. It can be as little as 1-2 days. After filling out our online adoption application, our adoption coordinators review the application and reach out to speak with the applicant directly. The application allows us to help you choose the right pet for you and your family. Upon approval, an interaction will be scheduled directly with the foster family. It is at this time, the pet’s foster family can provide more information about your potential pet and if everyone is in agreement, the new family member can come home the same day. Depending on the pet and situation, a home check may be scheduled to determine if there are any inadvertent dangers in your home. We want to make sure you, your family, and the pet are the best fit possible as this is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.
