Janet is a sweetheart that knows no strangers. She's incredibly sweet and enjoys being near people. She greets people with a purr and happily rubs against legs. She loves to watch wildlife, lounge, and play. Janet's story is one of resilience and hope. When she arrived to us, she had not been spayed and likely had many litters of kittens over her 8 years of life. Her body was weathered. Her teeth were so diseased that almost all of them needed to be extracted. She lived with a high level of chronic pain from her mouth and still chose to be a loving friend to all of us at KSR from the moment we met her. She doesn't know what it's like to live a life without fighting for survival. She is a bright ray of sunshine every single day, full of love and light. <br/><br/>For about 8 years, Janet had lived primarily outdoors around more than 20 other cats. She's ready to be spoiled and live her best life with a new best friend! Despite having lived outdoors for much of her life, Janet has been excellent at using a litter box and respecting her surroundings. She really doesn't need much to be happy, just love and a safe spot place to curl up for a nap. <br/><br/>Janet is about 8 years of age, spayed, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed.
