Jane

Jane is an incredibly sweet, super-social, 2-year-old girl who is ready to become your best friend and champion snuggler. This little love bug wants nothing more than to play and be curled up in a human's lap. She needs a home that will welcome her into the bed, as her former owner reports Jane loves to sleep under the covers, snuggled right next to her person! Jane is also a fan of belly rubs and will shower you with affection. She can tolerate other cats who give her space, but would prefer to be your one and only! She requires a home with no dogs and children over the age of 12. Jane is a very special girl with a special need: she recently had surgery to remove a rare skin cancer (cutaneous hemangiosarcoma) from her lower leg. It's likely the cancer will return, but we hope that Jane will continue to do well for a number of more years. We are seeking a dedicated family to be her hero--someone committed to giving her the most loved, highest quality life possible for as long as possible. This means being vigilant about her health, ensuring regular vet check-ups, and being observant of any changes. If you are this special person, please know we are open to placing Jane in our permanent foster care program; if interested, inquire about what Caring For Cats would cover financially.
