Jane's Story

Jane has had a rough start to her life. She was born to a homeless mother and lived the first year of her life homeless as well. She relied on the kindness of a man in the neighborhood who fed her and gave her shelter. He soon figured out that she really loved to have pets and affection.

Jane had at least one litter of kittens while she was on the streets. We were called in when the neighbor in the area realized she was getting attacked almost nightly by another cat. Due to this, Jane has a lot of fear of other cats, especially male cats.

Jane is absolutely precious. she is quiet and timid in our sanctuary, but I think she would come out of her shell if she was an only kitty. She loves when someone comes and pets her. She’s very talkative and she just purrs and purrs.

I would love nothing more than to get this sweet girl home. She deserves to be able to have calm and peace for the rest of her life. She is spayed, she has tested negative for both FIV and feline leukemia, she is very good about using her litter box, and she is ready for a forever home.

The best way to get to know her is to start watching our YouTube channel. You will see me check in with her every day.
