Jane's Story

Jane showed up on our door step with her sister Olivia and eight kittens. Even though we don't know which ones where hers, her DNA is strong cause almost every one of them looked like her. Jane has reached the age where she is still playful, but also dignified. Janes loves a good pillow to lay on as you watch tv and pet her gently.

Centralia Humane Society's Adoption Policy

We require an application process for anyone wanting to adopt on of our pets. We check to make sure all of your current/past pets were up-to-date on their vaccines and if they're canines, they're on monthly heartworm preventative. We realize that some may think this is too strict - however, we have seen the tragedies that not doing these things can cause and therefore want the very best for our animals. We treat our adoption process like children's adoption. Because these pets were someone's once, and they would want them to be well cared for in a loving home, and that is what we strive to do.
