Hello- my name is Jan. My friend Tarzan and I were found trying to make it on our own. We were so scared! A Good Samaritan brought us to Guardians where we would be safe and cared for. While here, I have grown into a handsome, friendly boy- if I do say so myself! I am estimated at 3 months old and currently weigh 3.5lbs. I am friendly with other cats. I am not a huge dog fan, but can coexist with them. My $125 adoption fee includes all of the medical care I received, vet exams, up to date vaccines, deworming, FELV/FIV test (negative), microchip and neuter, all already done. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
