From the beginning, he and his siblings have been playful, well-rounded, affectionate kittens. James is the gentle giant of the group - he is slightly bigger than his siblings but also the most laid back (or at least, as laid back as a kitten can be). You can see this at mealtime when he's the least likely to fight his way to the food bowl; but don't worry, he makes sure he gets his fill. He is a lovely tuxedo with adorable white whiskers that pop out of his all-black face. All three kittens are very good with young kids, as their 8-year-old foster sibling loves to pick them up, play with them, read books to them, and sleep with them.
