Meet Jalapeno! <br/><br/>Jalapeno's life on the streets wasn't exactly spicy in a good way. When he was found as a stray, he was sick, struggling, and in pretty rough shape. He came to us needing some much-deserved TLC, along with medical care to help him feel like himself again.<br/><br/>At first, Jalapeno wasn't quite sure what to think of his new friends. Being handled and medicated was scary for this unsure guy, so he found himself a cozy hidey box and did his best to avoid us. But as the days passed and Jalapeno started feeling better, he began to realize something very important: we were here to help him, not hurt him. <br/><br/>And then, Jalapeno literally-and figuratively-came out of his box! Once he felt safe, he started showing us his true personality, and what a sweet boy he is. He loves giving head bumps, soaking up pets, and being reminded just how wonderful it feels to be cared for.<br/><br/>Jalapeno may need a little time to settle into a new home, but once he gets comfortable, we think he's going to be an absolute lovebug. He's looking for someone willing to give him a little patience, a lot of love, and the chance to show off the sweet personality hiding underneath that initially shy exterior.<br/><br/>Give this boy a chance, and you just might find your new favorite snuggle buddy!
