Jake's Story

Hello there, dear reader. My name is Jake, and I'm delighted to tell you the tale of my remarkable journey. I was discovered near Mallard Pond Lane in Mount Airy, North Carolina, where my sister Maggie and I were living a precarious outdoor life. Thanks to the kindness of compassionate humans, we were rescued from that dangerous place and given a second chance. Since then, I've been cared for with great devotion—receiving medical attention, vaccinations, and most importantly, the gift of socialization that has opened my heart to human companionship. Now, I'm ready to write the next chapter of my story, and I'm hoping that chapter includes a loving forever home with someone who sees the wonderful potential within me.

My greatest joy in this world is the bond I share with my beloved sister Maggie, and we are inseparable companions. We've navigated so much together, and I cannot imagine life without her by my side. If you're considering giving us a home, know that you would be adopting not just one grateful feline, but two souls who have already proven their resilience and capacity for trust. Would you like to be the authors of our happily-ever-after?
How did I get here? I was found by a good samaritan.

**I am currently living in a foster home - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**

**We are a bonded pair, so we get to go home together!**

~Our adoption fee is $220.00~
