Abbey is usually the brave one and the first to say hello, while I like to take a moment to watch and make sure everything feels safe.<br/><br/>We came from the Ionia animal shelter after we were owner surrenders, but having Abbey by my side has made the change easier. <br/><br/>I might seem shy at first, but if you come over gently and give me some pets, you’ll quickly see my sweet side. I love head scratches, kind voices, and once I feel comfortable, the purring starts.<br/><br/>Abbey may warm up first, but I promise I’m just as affectionate.
