Cali's Misfits's Adoption Policy

Once an application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Cali's Misfits Team. A volunteer will contact the applicant to schedule a phone call to review the application and go over any questions. If the applicant and cat are a good match, the volunteer will schedule a meet and greet. At the meet and greet, the applicant will be able to decide if they want to move forward to complete the adoption and take home the kitty! Each adoption is unique, we prefer to match the adopter with a kitty (or two). If they have a kitty in mind then we will see if they are a good match, if not we can recommend other kitties that may be a better fit. For kittens under 12 weeks of age priority is given to an adopter with another cat in the home or interested in adopting two kittens.

Cali's Misfits mission is to give cats and kittens a second chance at life. We rescue them, give them the care they need, and find them loving homes. We also aim to educate the community on the lifesaving efforts of Trap Neuter Return.
