Meet Jacosta Known as "Captain Troublepants" in foster, Jacosta is the fearless leader of her litter. The one first to explore new things, she despise being locked in the large kennel at night and strongly voices her opinions. She has no fear or sense of personal safety, and runs headfirst into every adventure and new space, including sometimes literally headfirst into walls because she can't slow down. Jacosta has no personal boundaries. Playing on your phone too much when you should be playing with her? She'll knock it out of your hands. Not giving good enough pets? She'll climb up on your shoulder and snuggle into your neck. Full of kitten energy and affection, Jacosta is ready to make any home her permanent home and become the true queen of her domain. All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped. At the Carver Scott Humane Society, we follow an Adopter's Welcome philosophy. This means that instead of an overwhelming application process, home visits, and hoop jumping, we take a conversational approach to our adoptions. Our goal is to make adoptions possible and help you be a successful pet parent! Once an application is submitted, we take applications as "first-come, first-considered." While this does not guarantee that the first applicant will adopt the animal of their choice, it does guarantee that we will process the application all the way through before moving on to the next application in line. If you see an animal you are interested in, please apply as soon as possible! This does not obligate you to the animal in case you change your mind, but may assist in securing your place in line for that animal.
