Meet Jacobie and Beatrix:<br/><br/><br/>Are you looking to be a hero - to find meaning and purpose in your life? Then Jacobie and Beatrix are your dream come true. Left homeless and unsure of what their futures held when their human passed away, these two beautiful ladies found themselves in a shelter and on the path to being euthanized. Luckily, a sweet foster mom stepped in and rescued them but now they need a permanent hero to reward them for the years of loyal companionship they gave their past owner. These two ladies are completely bonded and need to be adopted together. Jacobie is a <br/>10 year old spirited grey and white queen. She's currently on an incredible weight loss journey, shedding three pounds from last Oct to her new weight of 22 lbs! As her weight has decreased her energy and spirt have increased. Jacobie is a big girl and she packs a lot of love into her healthy frame. Her favorite toys are feathers, paper towel rolls, and laser pointers. Her favorite place to sleep is on her human companion. Her bestie, Beatrix, is an elegant 12-year old black beauty and a true testament to resilience. Despite being blind and deaf, she navigates her world with grace and a little help from Jacobie. Like her friend, Beatrix is full of love and enjoys a good head scratch and napping with her family. In addition to her sight challenges, Beatrix is also has a hyper thyroid which is easily managed with two little pills a day that she easily takes. She has shown some kidney issues but at this point getting her thyroid under control seems to be mitigating that situation as well. Both ladies have perfect manners and wonderful litterbox habits.
