JACKSON's Story

AGE: Adult - 1.5 to 2 Years

DESCRIPTION: DSH Black Cat with Green Eyes

LOCATION: Foster Home

MY STORY:
Jackson was hanging out in a local camping park. The park ranger started to feed him and then asked our rescue for help. Due to his friendliness, it was not safe for him to roam the park with all of the traffic.

Jackson is a super friendly, lovey guy who is learning that he needs to just calm down to receive love and attention. Oh my gosh this guy will follow you everywhere and is always underfoot. He used to be very aggressive with wanting attention; overdoing it with bites and scratches but with the patience of his foster mom, he now is down to just slobbering a lot when he gets a lot of petting. LOL He is such an unusual cat. He wants your attention and love so badly that he kind of just loses his mind.

He is the friendliest guy to people but we would not recommend him for a home with children because he can nip at times when he is overstimulated. He is also a jerk to other kitties; mainly because he wants ALL the attention and ALL the food and ALL of everything. Actually, we wouldn't recommend any other animals in the home just because we don't want him to bully anyone and he shows no interest in playing with or being friends with other kitties in the foster home.

Jackson is a BIG cat. He is twice as big as the other male kitty in the foster home. He has beautiful eyes and a thick black coat. He has no issues wearing a collar so you can probably dress this kid up as you like. He is such a cool and unusual cat that you might be able to train him on a leash. It is very easy to trim his claws by yourself, too, because he thinks you are giving him attention. Seriously, this cat is a hoot.

If you are looking for a big cat that is obsessed with you and wants all of your love and attention and is up in your space all the time, this big guy is for you. He is looking for his bestie and once found, he will make you a very loyal, loving, and entertaining cat.

MORE DETAILS:
Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.

We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty. You can get the application by going to our website at "http://www.panorapets.com/adopt"
and clicking on the "Cat Adoption Questionnaire" button at the top of the page. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in this kitty.

P.E.T.S. supports the "Paws Need Claws" Campaign. Cats are rather attached to their claws; please do not de-claw your cats.
