Jacks is a sweet tabby boy born on May 21, 2026. He and his siblings were left at Kingsville Animal Control without their mother, and they were already terribly sick. These tiny kittens were fighting panleukopenia--one of the most devastating and deadly viruses a young kitten can face.<br/><br/>Jacks should have been spending those first weeks of his life curled up safely beside his mom. Instead, his little body was fighting just to stay alive.<br/><br/>But Jacks fought. Day after day, he kept going until eventually the frightened, sick baby we first knew began to feel better, grow stronger, and finally get the chance to simply be a kitten.<br/><br/>Now Jacks is healthy, happy, and ready for the part of his story we have been waiting for--the day he goes home.<br/><br/>He survived a beginning that no kitten should ever have to endure.
