JACKIE O's Story

It is amazing how many people, while packing up their belongings and keepsakes for the move, simply forget they have a cat!!!

Pretty little JACKIE O had a home for 3 years, but then the house was empty and she was left behind to fend for herself, in the Winter, IN MICHIGAN! Fortunately, someone noticed and brought her to the shelter! Naturally, we have no history, so we have no idea how she feels about other cats, dogs, or kids. She is so young though, with non-aggressive animals, and slow introductions, she should be fine. She is also young enough to be ok with children, but they need to understand about soft pets, no squeezing hugs, and Everyone needs to remember cats will nip or scratch if they feel restrained, or if playtimes go on too long or are too rough.

JACKIE O is a petite girl and looks like a youngster. She may have moments of playtime, but she also wants someone willing to give her a comfy lap to snuggle into. She was betrayed by someone she trusted, so she may need time to adjust to a new home and family, but with time and patience, this pretty girl will become the sweet companion and family member you may not have realized you missed!

DOB-01/2023 Entered Shelter-02/2026

If you would like to adopt JACKIE O, please visit the shelter during Adoption Hours, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm, or call 231-773-3030 to make an appointment.
