Jackie & Frida's Story

Jackie and Frida are littermates, looking to be adopted together, but we’ll let them tell us why...

“Hi, I’m Jackie (black and white bicolor), and I am Frida’s big sister. We’re about the same size, but I think I’m her big sister because she looks to me before doing anything on her own. If I make biscuits with my adorable paws, Frida makes biscuits with her paws. If I climb the cat tree, Frida is right behind me. My sister may be shy, but with me by her side, she will be your favorite snuggle buddy. I am a big sister, and I have a take charge attitude. If I want snuggles, I will smush my face into your face and keep it there until you pet me. If you are busy, I will wait… with my face pressed right to your cheek. I like to watch TV, and if something exciting is happening on the screen, I’ll go right up to the TV to get a really close look. I’m fun and funny, and I can’t wait for our family to find us, adopt us, and keep us forever.”

“My name is Frida (black and white tuxedo), and I think my sister Jackie is the most important cat in the whole world. I like it when she is in the same room with me, and if she goes off to play with toys or walk around, I will follow her. I like to eat when she eats, sleep when she sleeps, and get snuggles from humans when she does it first. I am very sweet, and I like people of all ages. I stand really still when Jackie gives me a bath, and I snuggle her when she’s done with my bath because I love her SO much. If Jackie thinks a human is her friend, I know that human is my friend, too. I don’t know what I’d do without my big sister!”

Jackie and Frida are 6 months old, vaccinated and spayed. They are indoor only and have tested negative for FeLV/FIV. They would like to be adopted together; the adoption fee is $250 for both.

If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org!
